Kannapolis Cannon Ballers
The Kannapolis Cannon Ballers are a Minor League Baseball team of the South Atlantic League and the Class A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. They are located in Kannapolis, North Carolina and beginning in 2020, will play their home games at Atrium Health Ballpark.

The Cannon Baller brand exemplifies a community that was built by tough, hardworking millworkers who toiled in the Cannon Mill. The All-American Cannon Baller is resilient, just like the residents of Kannapolis and their region that rose above the mill closing.

As we approach the 1 year anniversary of the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers Big Reveal, we sat down with Alicia Amling, Director for Temerity Baseball, who acquired the club back in 2018. She spoke about the challenges of renaming a team with a lot of history and why video played an important role during the transition.
